As we said in the last post, B90, the upcoming Besturn flagship sedan from FAW, will share a platform with the second generation Mazda 6, which FAW produces in a joint venture with Mazda. Just like the B30, it is believed to be undergoing road tests somewhere and make to the Shanghai Auto Show only as a concept, the B9.
FAW disclosed few details, in text, about the B9 or B90 concept. We only know that it has a 2780mm wheelbase, 105mm longer than that of the B50 and B70; an overall presence 4875mm long, 1826mm wide, 1469mm high; 1557mm front and 1552mm rear track; 205/60R16 tires.
Compared with that of the second generation Mazda 6, the body of the B90, designed to be a midsize, is 120mm longer, the wheelbase 55mm longer.
Prices are estimated to start around 140,000 Yuan and top out around 180,000 Yuan.
