The Yusheng is a midsize SUV built by Jiangling Motor Co., Ltd. (JMC). Released on December 5, 2010, it was the automaker’s first entry into the SUV market, carrying a new, X-shape logo distinct from the red one for JMC trucks. Yusheng is believed to share a platform with the Yuhu pickup truck, despite major differences in dimensions and underpinnings between the two vehicles.
The prototype of Yusheng was first spotted in August 2008, bearing the codename N350. The first production model rolled off the assembly line in Nanchang, Jiangxi, on October 18, 2010.
In 2013, sales reached 14,289. In 2014, 26,855 units of the Yusheng were delivered.
